What Makes VIP Transport Different From a Normal Car Booking?
A VIP chauffeur in Dubai is only as good as the planning behind the journey. The car matters, but the brief, the timing and the people coordinating it matter more.
Cars With Driver provides luxury cars with professional drivers for executives, visiting delegations, corporate guests and private clients. We also work with the assistants, concierges and planners who book on their behalf.
The right vehicle and booking depend on the itinerary, passenger count, luggage, pickup points and how much coordination is needed. One executive collected from the airport needs a different plan from a delegation arriving on two flights and moving between meetings, a hotel and an evening event.
This page explains what to prepare, how a movement is planned, how to choose vehicles and what to confirm before the day. With this in hand, you can request an accurate quote the first time.

Who Books VIP Transport and What Do They Need From Us?
VIP transportation in Dubai is usually booked by someone other than the passenger. That person carries the practical risk: if a pickup point is unclear or the car is too small, the problem lands on their desk.
Typical bookers include:
- Executive and personal assistants arranging transport for company leaders with several appointments in one day.
- Concierges and hotel teams moving guests, such as a visitor at Burj Al Arab who must reach a dinner on time, or a delegation leaving One&Only Royal Mirage for a morning meeting in DIFC.
- Corporate travel managers organising executive meetings, site visits and visiting management teams.
- Event planners managing guest arrivals and departures around a venue such as Dubai World Trade Centre.
- Private offices coordinating travel for families, principals or delegations.
What all of them need from us is the same: a clear plan, one reliable contact and no surprises on the day.
Before you ask for a quote, settle the essentials. These are the dates, the addresses, passenger and luggage numbers, waiting needs and whether more than one car is required. The booking brief below lists everything we need to quote against a fixed plan rather than an estimate.

How Is a VIP Movement Planned?
A VIP movement is planned in three stages: the brief, the advance checks and the day of travel. Each stage removes a risk before it can affect the principal, the person being driven.
VIP bookings are handled directly by our reservations team by phone or WhatsApp, not through an automated system. Flight details, addresses and sensitive instructions stay with a small team.
Stage 1: The brief
The organiser shares the itinerary, passenger needs, vehicle preferences, luggage, pickup points, contact details and any special instructions. One structured brief is far more reliable than a string of separate messages. It lets us send back a vehicle recommendation and a written quote to confirm.
Stage 2: Advance checks
Before travel, we review pickup points, journey timings, the order of stops, traffic, airport or venue instructions, passenger allocation and coordination between cars. A complex movement may need a lead contact, a shared itinerary and a backup plan for a late landing or an overrunning meeting.
Stage 3: The day of travel
Pickup details are confirmed. About 30 minutes before pickup, the chauffeur's name, photo and plate number go to the organiser on WhatsApp.
The chauffeur arrives 15 minutes early, in uniform, and your named contact stays reachable throughout. If the schedule changes, the route and timing are adjusted within the booked hours. Any extra hours are charged as quoted.
VIP Transport Booking Brief
Use this checklist when you request a booking. Copy it into your email or WhatsApp and fill in each line.
- Booking contact and preferred way to reach them
- Travel date and pickup times
- Pickup and destination addresses
- Flight number, terminal and arrival time, where relevant
- Passenger names or passenger count, as needed
- Number of vehicles and preferred vehicle types
- Passenger and luggage numbers
- Full itinerary, stops in between and expected duration
- Waiting time or return transfer needs
- Special access, protocol or confidentiality instructions
- Billing details and how you want the booking confirmed
Share only the personal details needed to run the journey. A passenger count is often enough. Names are needed only where a venue, an airport arrangement or a passenger list requires them.
How Much Does a VIP Chauffeur Cost in Dubai?
A VIP chauffeur in Dubai costs from AED 2,000 to AED 2,500 for a full day in a flagship sedan, and AED 550 to AED 600 for a one way VIP transfer in Dubai from the airport. The final price depends on the vehicles, the hours and how many cars the movement needs.
VIP Chauffeur Rates in Dubai by Vehicle Role
| Vehicle | Role in a VIP movement | Per hour (3 hr min) | Full day (10 hr) | Airport transfer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-Maybach S-Class | Principal car | AED 500 | AED 2,500 | AED 600 |
| Mercedes-Benz S-Class | Principal or senior guest | AED 400 | AED 2,000 | AED 550 |
| BMW 7 Series | Senior staff or second principal | AED 300 | AED 1,800 | AED 550 |
| Cadillac Escalade | Principal with family, or follow car | AED 250 | AED 1,900 | AED 500 |
| GMC Yukon Denali | Staff and luggage car | AED 200 | AED 1,300 | AED 450 |
| Mercedes-Benz V-Class Maybach | VIP group travelling together | AED 400 | AED 2,400 | AED 700 |
| Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van | Delegation staff and heavy luggage | AED 500 | AED 2,000 | AED 850 |
| Rolls-Royce Dawn | Ceremonial arrival | On request | On request | On request |
Rates are per vehicle and cover the chauffeur, fuel, Salik tolls, parking and VAT. Hourly hire has a three hour minimum and a full day is ten hours. Prices checked October 2026.
Extra hours, waiting beyond the included time and trips to other emirates are quoted separately, and your written quote lists each one. If a requested car is not free, we tell you upfront and offer the closest match. A different car is never sent without your approval.
What a typical VIP day costs
Here is a real example worked out from the rates above. A principal arrives with two staff members and six large cases, then spends the day in meetings.
- Mercedes-Maybach S-Class for the principal, full day: AED 2,500
- GMC Yukon Denali for staff, full day: AED 1,300
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van for the luggage, one airport transfer: AED 850
- Total for the day: AED 4,650, with fuel, Salik, parking and VAT included
Sending luggage in its own vehicle keeps the principal's car calm and clear, and it often costs less than upgrading every car.

Which Vehicles Suit the Principal, Staff and Luggage?
Choose each vehicle by its role, the group size, the luggage and the itinerary, not by model name alone.
- The principal usually needs a flagship sedan with a quiet rear seat for calls and reading. The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is the first choice for most principals.
- Accompanying staff travel best in an SUV, which carries more people and cases. The Cadillac Escalade also works as a principal car for families.
- A group that must arrive together suits the V-Class Maybach, our luxury people carrier.
- A ceremonial arrival, such as a wedding guest of honour, can use the Rolls-Royce Dawn, quoted on request.
Count large cases, golf bags and presentation equipment separately from passengers. Luggage is the detail organisers most often underestimate.
Not sure which mix to choose? Send the passenger and luggage numbers and ask us for a recommendation before you pick a model.

How Do You Plan a Multi Vehicle Delegation?
Plan a delegation around passenger allocation first and vehicles second. Decide who travels with the principal, who follows with the luggage, and whether the cars move together or separately.
A delegation split across two or three cars needs:
- A named contact for each car
- One shared schedule that every contact can see
- A clear plan for who waits where between meetings
- A single person on your side who can approve changes
Where several cars travel together as a convoy, we agree the vehicle order and arrival timing in advance. Convoys with a lead, principal and follow vehicle are quoted individually, and we advise 72 hours' notice.
For a delegation that stays several days, a single coordination call with an account manager can set the plan for the whole visit. Your lead contact then liaises with us each day.

What Are Your VIP Airport Transfer Options in Dubai?
A VIP airport transfer in Dubai starts with accurate arrival details: the flight number, arrival time, airport and terminal, passengers and bags, pickup instructions and a phone number that will be answered.
We collect at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). Flights are tracked, and arrivals include 45 minutes of free waiting, which an early or late landing does not reduce.
- For terminal by terminal detail at DXB, see our Dubai airport chauffeur service page.
- For private aviation and DWC arrivals, see our Al Maktoum airport transfer page.
If a flight is delayed or the schedule changes, tell the booking team as soon as you know, so the pickup and any onward cars can move. When passengers arrive separately, give each arrival its own flight and pickup details, or say who joins which car.
VIP transfer at Dubai airport: Al Majlis and private terminals
Some principals arrive through the Al Majlis VIP service at DXB or a private aviation terminal at DWC. These are arranged with the airport facility or operator, separately from the chauffeur booking.
Once the arrival is confirmed, we coordinate the chauffeur's position and timing with the facility. Access permissions and the terminal service itself are confirmed by the facility.
Treat fast track, lounge access, extra meet and greet and private terminal handling as separate services to confirm in writing. Never assume they come with a standard transfer.
For private aviation arrivals, send the terminal, the expected exit point, the handover instructions and the facility's confirmation, so the chauffeur is in the right place.
How Does a VIP Booking Differ From a Standard Chauffeur Booking?
A VIP car service in Dubai adds planning, a named contact and confidentiality to a normal chauffeur booking. The car and chauffeur standard stay the same.
| What changes | Standard chauffeur booking | VIP chauffeur booking |
|---|---|---|
| Who books | Usually the passenger | Usually an assistant, concierge or planner |
| Planning | Pickup time and address | Full brief, advance checks and backup plan |
| Contact | The passenger | One named contact for the whole movement |
| Vehicles | One car | Often several cars with set roles |
| Airport | Arrivals hall pickup | Can be coordinated with Al Majlis or a private terminal |
| Confidentiality | Standard | Signed NDAs and limited access to booking details |
| Notice | Same day often possible | 24 to 48 hours advised, 72 for convoys |
If your trip is one simple journey for one person, a standard booking is usually enough. For an hourly day with several stops, our hourly chauffeur Dubai service may be the simpler choice.

What Does a VIP Day in Dubai Look Like?
These two sample plans show how the booking types fit together. Your real timings depend on your flights and meetings.
A single executive on a one day visit
- Airport pickup at DXB in a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, with the flight tracked.
- Drop at the hotel to freshen up, with the chauffeur waiting nearby.
- Meetings in DIFC and Business Bay, with the same car and chauffeur between them.
- Dinner across the city, then a return to the hotel.
- Next morning, a separate airport transfer for departure.
Booking: one full day plus one airport transfer.
A delegation of eight arriving on two flights
- Two airport pickups, each with its own flight details and a lead contact.
- Principal in a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, staff in a GMC Yukon Denali, cases in a Sprinter Van.
- All cars meet at the hotel, then the luggage van is released.
- Principal and staff cars stay on full day hire for meetings and an evening event.
- One shared schedule, with changes approved by the organiser's lead contact.
Booking: two full day cars plus one airport transfer for the van.

How Do We Keep VIP Journeys Confidential?
We treat discretion as an everyday working rule, not an optional extra.
In practice, it means:
- Chauffeurs and the staff who handle VIP bookings sign non disclosure agreements.
- Booking records are kept for operations and invoicing only, and only the people who need them can see them.
- Client names, vehicle images and journey details are never used in marketing, and we publish no client list.
- Reservations are handled directly by phone or WhatsApp.
- Chauffeurs follow the pickup and communication rules agreed with the organiser. They do not discuss passengers, routes or schedules with anyone else.
You can help by naming one contact instead of forwarding the schedule to several people. If you need extra contractual assurance, ask for a bespoke NDA when you brief us.

Can You Work With Our Security Team and Protocol?
Yes. Where a client's own security team is involved, coordination runs through a security liaison agreed in advance, including route planning with that team.
This service covers chauffeur transport only. Protective security is not part of it. Protocol needs, such as a fixed arrival order or specific entry points, are discussed in advance and confirmed in writing.

What Mistakes Should You Avoid When Booking VIP Transport?
Most VIP transport problems come from small gaps in the brief, not from the car or the chauffeur.
These are the ones we see most often:
- Sending only the arrival time, not the flight number. Without it, the flight cannot be tracked.
- Forgetting the luggage count. Six large cases will not fit in a sedan with three passengers.
- Too many people sending instructions. Name one contact who can approve changes.
- Assuming fast track is included. Airport VIP services are booked separately with the facility.
- Booking separate one way trips for a busy day. An hourly or full day booking keeps the same car waiting nearby.
- Leaving convoys to the last minute. Multi vehicle movements need around 72 hours' notice.

Frequently Asked Questions About VIP Chauffeurs in Dubai
Quick answers about planning, prices and booking. Still unsure? Send us your question on WhatsApp below.
What is included in a VIP chauffeur service in Dubai?
A chauffeur and vehicle for the trip or hours you book, with fuel, Salik tolls, parking and VAT in the quoted rate. Extra hours, extended waiting and trips to other emirates are quoted separately. Security staff, fast track and private terminal services are not included.
How much does a VIP chauffeur cost in Dubai?
A Mercedes-Maybach S-Class costs AED 2,500 for a full day or AED 600 for an airport transfer. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class costs AED 2,000 for a full day. Multi vehicle movements are quoted as one plan.
How far in advance should I arrange VIP transportation?
We recommend 24 to 48 hours for standard VIP bookings. This allows time for vehicle preparation, chauffeur briefing and any terminal coordination. Same day requests are accepted if cars are free, and account clients get priority. For convoys, 72 hours' notice is advised.
Do you offer a VIP limousine in Dubai?
Yes. Our VIP limousine bookings use flagship cars such as the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the V-Class Maybach, not stretch limousines. Each comes with a uniformed chauffeur and the same planning as any VIP booking.
Can I book multiple vehicles for an executive delegation?
Yes. Send passenger numbers, arrival times, pickup points and the lead person for each group. We recommend how to split passengers and luggage across cars, and your lead contact liaises with us on the day.
Can I arrange a VIP airport transfer at DXB or DWC?
Yes, we collect at both airports. Send the flight details, terminal and passenger numbers. Services run by the airport or a terminal operator are booked separately with them.
How are cancellations, changes and billing handled?
Cancellation and change terms are sent with your written quote, and a cancelled flight is not treated as a no show. Standard bookings need no deposit and are paid at the end of the trip by card, bank transfer or cash. Corporate accounts can be invoiced monthly.
Can I involve my own security team or request a set arrival protocol?
Yes, with advance notice. Name a security liaison and share the agreed pickup, entry point and communication instructions in your brief. Protective security is not part of the chauffeur booking, and any protocol need is confirmed in writing before travel.
