Do children need a car seat in a chauffeur car in Dubai?
Yes. Children up to four years old must be in a child safety seat, and the rules make no exception for hired or chauffeur driven cars.
These rules come from Article 49 of the Federal Traffic Law and Ministerial Resolution No. 178 of 2017. That is why a child friendly chauffeur should always fit seats before pickup, not at the kerb.
The UAE now applies Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2024, which came into force on 29 March 2025. Rules can change, so check the latest RTA rules before you travel.
Which child seat does your child need in Dubai?

Is a full day cheaper than booking by the hour?
Yes, once your day passes six hours. In the Yukon XL, six hours at AED 200 costs AED 1,200, the same as a 10 hour full day. So if your plans may run past six hours, book the full day and keep the extra hours spare for traffic, naps and slow lunches.
How does a family airport transfer in Dubai work?
Your chauffeur tracks your flight, waits in arrivals with a name board and loads the bags while you handle the children.

How do you travel with a baby or toddler in a chauffeur car?
Plan the ride around the baby, not the clock. A few small things make a big difference on the road.
- Book around nap time. Many babies sleep well in a moving car, so a long drive can double as a nap.
- Ask for the car to be cooled first. Your chauffeur can run the air conditioning before you get in, so the seat is not hot.
- Keep a small bag on your lap. Wipes, a bottle, a snack and a spare top should not be in the boot.

We suggest at least 24 hours before your trip. For groups, two cars or several child seats, give us 48 hours. Same day bookings are possible when cars are free.
What is included in the price?
The chauffeur, the car, fuel and Wi-Fi. Salik tolls and parking are confirmed in your written quote, so there are no surprises at the end of the day.
Can one parent travel alone with the children?
Yes. Many of our family bookings are one parent with children. Your chauffeur helps with bags and the pushchair, so your hands stay free for the little ones.

Extra time is charged per 30 minutes at the rate in your quote. Your chauffeur checks with you before it starts.
